“Servicing the movement requires detailed and precise work, the dial and the hands are removed along with the mechanism (which consist of over 100 parts). Prior to reassembling every part is pre-treated, thoroughly cleaned. Once the watch has been carefully assembled it is then placed onto a timing machine to examine the timekeeping, usually, there are several tweaks involved to ensure the timing keeping exceeds expectations.”
